Microsoft Office XP teachers and students

I there a way to have office on both my home and laptop
computer. Or do i have to buy a separate teachers/student
edition to put the program on my laptop.

Also, I had word originally on my laptop before I
installed Office XP for teachers and students. If I have
to uninstall office XP will it uninstall my word program?

Hi Jeff,

MS Office XP Student and Teachers Edition can be moved
to a different computer but the license is a per machine one.

If Word was preinstalled on your PC it may have been part
of the MS Works Suite package and should be listed separately
in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel. You
may need to reinstall it after uninstalling MS Office.

You got it for at least 75% off the retail price - of course there are going
to be some restrictions! Even purchasing two licences you're saving 50% off
the price of the full retail Standard edition. The STE in the UK is £83 inc
tax - the FRV Standard is £335 - now, by my maths, you can purchase 4 STE
licences for the same price as one FRV. I don't see what the problem is.
