Microsoft Office XP

Hi Frederick,

It depends on your definition. Word and Excel
files for example can be used in older versions
with compatability settings.

Is MS Office XP backwards compatible?

Thank you for your help.

What do you mean?

EG Word XP will work fine with Office 2000 modules;

Word XP will allow you to read files from earlier versions.

There are problems with macros from earlier versions, which have to be
converted to XP style, and I understand that Access XP is no more
backwards compatible thanits predecessors.

Maybe you can define your question a little more?
