Microsoft office2000Premium (upgrade) + XP

I'd had MS Office2000 Premium (upgrade) on my Win98
machine and now, have this new XP machine. It came with
XP Professional office and I thought I could install my
MS Office2000 Premium so I'd have Excel and PowerPoint
again, but it's telling me there aren't compatible
programs. Help!? How can I get this installed, please?

XP Professional is either your operating system or the Office suite. What
Office program do you have installed aleady on the new computer?

If you have Office XP Professional on the new machine, it already includes
PowerPoint and Excel. Excel is contained in all Office Suites.
