I m trying to uninstall office 2000 pro and cannot. I
used the eraser program from the knowlege base and it had
no effect. I am in administrator mode. Any suggestions. A
user started deleting files from some hoax message he got
and corrupted office. It won't let me install over it
with another version either.

I don't have Office 2000 to check, but I believe if you insert the CD it
will "autoplay" then give you a menu which you can select "un-install".

Why bother?
If the user concerned fell for a hoax that easy, he/she is probably too
stupid to use a computer in the first place!
