Microsoft Outlook 2007

Has anyone experience this error message, "This operation has been canceled
due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system
administrator".

Here is problem. I am the only one who uses this computer. I have
administrator rights. Microsoft Outlook 2007 worked fine until the last two
updates. I receive and can read my messages in my inbox with no problems
just fine, but cannot click on the provided links to websites within the
messages without the above error message popping up on the screen.

My operating system is Vista Ultimate, ZoneAlarm Security Suite is the
anti-firewall, anti-spam, and anti-virus application. I have more than the
required minimum specs to operate any application on my system. I am not
hooked up on a network. I am using cable to access the Internet. Microsoft
Office 2007 and Vista Ultimate updates are installed with no installation
error messages.

Hello, Brian,

Thank you for the response, but it does not help me. I clicked on the
provided link and read the information. Did you miss the part where I wrote,
I am not on a network. My computer is not on a network and there is not
other computer I can import the file from. Any other suggestions?

If this is an attempt at humor, it is not appreciated. Why would I want to
import a registry key that is from a different computer? Why would I mess up
my registry key with data that does not match?

If you see the message below my reply, it was not appreciated. Besides
nothing in you provided link stated anything about using someone else
computer to import the file. The imported registry key would not have the
already configured files that work just fine. Any further suggestions?

You don't need a network. If you can't import the registry key from another
computer, you can certainly EXAMINE another computer to see that the key
should contain and manually make the change on your own computer.

But you seem to have missed the most important part of that article. TWO
solutions were provided and the FIRST one listed tells you how to fix the
problem without any other PC involved. I can't imagine why you decided to
ignore that method and concentrate on the registry solution.
