microsoft outlook 76 characters

In the view window of receiving the message I have a report that is delivered
containing more than 76 characters per line. Outlook will only display 76
characters on 1 line. I have changed my font to automatic wrap at 80 for
plaintext, and I've also tried changing my font to courier new 8 pt. still
wraps at 76. Even to print landscape it prints and previews at 76. Does
anyone have any suggestions.

The person sending the file apparently has e-mail format
set to 'plain text' which will limit the message to 76
characters per line.
