microsoft outlook errors

I just installed MS outllok 2003 on my loptop, but I am unable to send
emails. They stay in my outbox, and I get an error 0x800cc18. any help is
appreciated!

Dear,
This can be an authentication error, have you checked all your email
settings - make sure under email configuration and make a test.
