microsoft outlook is giving the following error 0x8004210 sending

we have had to replace the mother board and hard drive on a computer, my
outlook is giving the above error when sending and receiving, any ideas what
this means. i can use the same setup on all the other computers and it
works. i can ping the ip address of this computer and it replys, i can ping
the host and it replys not sure what else i can do. outlook is up to date
with updates.

Try the following steps.

Create a new profile and configure the same account in it.

Also, if it fails, try disabling the firewall/anti-virus programs and then
try to re-send test emails to yourself.
