Every time I open a link in an email, it says I do not have permission to
perform that operation and I need the Administrators permission to perform
that operation.
I am a single user on a single, not networked computer, can anyone help me
to resolve this problem please, it is driving me nuts.

This is a problem with IE, it's actually not an Outlook error. Please reset
your
internet settings in IE: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab. (Or go
into the Control Panel > Internet options > Advanced tab).
