Microsoft Photo Editor (Office 97)

I have used Microsoft Photo Editor many, many times
before...but now I am having problems. PLEASE HELP!!! I
have recently installed Micro. Office 97 on my computer
for the Photo Editor aspect. Every time I open the program
initially tells me the file registry can not be found and
I have tried to following the instructions given and when
I go through Micro Explorer and follow the steps it tell
me the path does not exist. Problem 2: I can't save
anything I do in Photo Editor. If I click on Save or Save
As, the whole thing closes out. I used Photo Editor for
the transparency factor and paste my new image in Word
with the image only and the background is see through. If
I try to copy the image and paste it into Word, I have a
white box around my image. I have never had this problem
before with Mocro. Photo Editor...can some one help???????
please........Tonie. No one seems to know what to do or
everything they tell me doesn't work. I use the program
for my bands logo. Thanks much. Please reply to email as I
