i have 30 computers connected in a peer-peer network, with office 97 lets you add a microsoft mail account to outlook, so you can have internal mail. with office xp i cannot add a microsoft mail account meaning i have no internal mail

example; to write an e-mail to someone i just pull the microsoft post office address book and it works fine internally, with xp no microsoft post office address boo

Microsoft Mail is old,unsupported and pretty useless. Having said that, you
can use the information on this page to get it working with Outlook 2002:
http://www.poremsky.com/msmail_xp.htm

One of these days, you really should consider upgrading to a real mail
server - several are out there and some are very inexpensive or even free.
