microsoft power point

I am in power point tutorials. I am instructed to go to slide sorter view, select slide #8 in the tutorial, click copy, go to slide #2 in normal view, then use the paste special to insert slide #8 in to slide #2, then resize slide #8 so it fits within slide #2. I am trying to fit 7 miniatures in to slide #2 as instructed in this tutorial
