Microsoft Project 2007 problem with Windows 7

Good day,

I get the following error when I try to view the Resources from Microsoft
Project 2007.

The steps that I have done to get the error:

1. Open Microsoft Project 2007
2. In the "Resource Names" type in the user name (Username exists in AD)
3. Click on View
4. Click on "Resource Sheet"
5. Double click on the "Resource Name"
Resource Information screen appears with User details
6. Click on the "Windows Account..." tab
7. Then just click "Allow"

Then I get the following error:

Project could not retrieve the Windows User Account from the address book
for "User name".

Try the following:

Check the spelling of the user account for the resource.

check your network connection, and then try again

This error only happens in Windows 7.

This is a general question and should be asked in the general server group.
One thing to try with IE8 is to switch your compatibility settings to use
compatibility view for all websites or add your PWA site(s) to the
compatibility list. Let us know if that affects the behavior.
