Microsoft Project 2007

I am trying to install the trial version of MS PROJECT 2007. I downloaded to
my desk top and tried to burn to a disc as instructed but it loads to the
disc as a file and I get a message stating the file can not be read.

What am I not doing?

You may need to try a program like Roxio Easy Media Crerator, etc. They
have a trial download available.

I use Roxio as well, and occassionally I run into problems when items are on
my desk top. Try moving the image to a folder on your C: drive other than
the desk top.

Also, in Roxio, are you specifying "Load Image"?
Just to keep me up to date, what is the extention on the file you downloaded
(iso, exe, etc).

I moved the file to my hard drive and inserted a blank disk. Roxio asked me
what I wanted to do and I clicked "burn file to disk". After roxio formatted
the disk, it indicated for me to drag file to disk which I did. The file
extension is IMG and there was no "burn to disk" on the menue bar afterward.

Hello Spector,

See:
http://channel9.msdn.com/forums/Cof...-demo-from-IMG-file-on-new-Vista-installation

for information on using ISOBuster to install from ISO or IMG file.

You can also use Magic ISO:
http://www.magiciso.com/

If you are using Windows 7, you might want to consider using the Virtual
PC (XP Mode) to create a virtual image and then install the trial
version to the virtual machine. You don't run into the issue of having
to uninstall the trial version when installing to a virtual pc.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
