Microsoft Project online viewer

I am interesting if you suffer from the fact that there is no free
viewer program that enables you to open a project file from a computer
that does not have Microsoft Office Project or other appropriate
software installed?

Will it be helpful for you to have some online service where everyone
can open and share project files for free?

I am the only person in my company who have MS Project installed.
Almost every week someone ask me open and print project file.

That is why I decided to create online service which allow opening
project files. The early beta is available on www.amiproject.com

I just wondering if this service can be helpful and is there any demand
for that.

Thank you

I tired your link and liked it, good job.
Micorosft is working on Web Accessible Office 2010 applications. See here
(it's a public site): http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/ and select Web
Applications.

Software as a Service appears to be the wave of the future. I personally
believe it will not be too long before MS adds Project to the Web Apps
described above. Don't have anything to back that up, but it certainly seems
logical.

Although your product would be "free" and of course Microsoft probably has
some intention on selling the services, I believe you are up against some
stiff and well funded competition.

Best wishes and I hope you find a business model that makes it a lucrative
project for you. For now, we print PDF files for those without MSP.

Thank you Jim for your answer. I have just recognized your answer!
As far as I know Microsoft does not have Project in scope of Web Offic
apps, does it? So, probably I have couple of years before Microsof
squash me.

I have a lot of ideas regarding my project development and busines
model which inspire me much. I believe I can help may people by makin
MS Project viewer available online for free.

Thank you for kind wishes!
