Dear,

My boss asks me to find some enterprise solution for project management. I
find that MS Project and Rational Portfolio Manager are the solution that may
suit the need. Can anyone tell me the comparsion on FEATURE and PRICE of this
two solution? Thx.

No idea on the rational suite, but rational stuff is usually painfully
expensive, and from prior and current experience, crap...

Project server is something like US$1200 for a 5 client access licence setup
+ licences for ms project professional (for the managers doing the
scheduling etc). I'm only qouting from memory here. It is actually a pretty
good product you sit on top of a sql server (or msde) DB, and Windows
Sharepoint Services (or sharepoint portal services), and has nice web
timesheeting/issue/task tracking facilities built in, and is extensible.

How can you compare Cheap Micro Soft software with Big Blue Really? Crap? My
God How can you say that when you've never worked on it have the decency to
work on the product RPM then say it's Crap. The way microsoft always wins is
through trashing Bea,Oracle and Ibm OS2 AnyOne?/??
