Microsoft publisher software

M

Mordido

I use Windows XP Home Edition with Microsoft Office Student and Teacher
Edition 2003 which has Word 2003. I'm trying to put together a Chapbook of
poetry and am looking for Microsoft Publisher. Does my version of Word 2003
have any ability to accesss and use Microsoft Publisher. Bottom line, how,
considering the software I use, do I obtain and install Microsoft Publisher?

Step 1: Go to a computer or office supply store.
Step 2: Locate a box marked "Microsoft Office Publisher 2003"
Step 3: Take this to the cash desk and pay for it.
Step 4: Remove CD-ROM from packaging, place into computer, follow on-screen
instructions.

In place of steps 1 - 3, you could purchase Microsoft Publisher 2003 from
Amazon.com -

That'll do it too. Make sure you use a nice pretty pink lip gloss.

These were very cute replies. Perhaps I could've been clearer. Before I
reread your instructions-and I do appreciate the guidance-I wanted to know if
purchasing more software is necessary. Mainly, does Word 2003 provide any
features that could create a chapbook without having to purchase something
like "Publisher"?

Aha, you were not very clear at all with that.

Word provides no access to Publisher's facilities, although it may have
similar features built in.

I would ask this in a Word newsgroup, as that's where the experts about Word
hang out.

I would recommend using the right tool for the job, though. It would
probably be easier to use Publisher for this, depending on exactly what
you're looking at doing.

We're a bit twisted in here. I'm glad you can appreciate what passes for
