Microsoft Sync Services error

I'm trying to get iCal and Address book to sync for a particular user, but
there seems to be something coming from iCal that Entourage doesn't like.
All of the contacts sync fine from Address Book, and it appears that the
iCal part of the sync gets most of the way through and then an error pops up
that says "Microsoft Sync Services has encountered an problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I then let it restart Microsoft
Sync Services, but then the problem happens again before the sync gets all
the way through. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Things like events in the future or events with no name can cause problems.

Sync services unfortunately doesn't work properly in Entourage and
there is no sign of a fix on the horizon from Microsoft. they too
would love to get this fixed as it taxed their tech support people
extensively. You might want to do a search in this forum or Mactopia
on the issue to see what lies ahead should you use it. its pretty
nasty.
