Microsoft Text Drivers

I was working in Excel from Microsoft Office 2000 and had
some corrupted files. Tried to reinstall with no luck.
So I uninstalled the program and tried to reinstall it.
Now I get an error message as follows:
Error 1918. Error installing ODBC driver: Microsoft Text
Driver (*txt;*, csv). ODBC error 13: could not load the
setup or translator library. Verify that the file
Microsoft Text Driver (*txt;* csv) exists and that you can
access it.
Also when pushing the Ignore button, I get the same
message for Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb), Microsft
dBaseDriver (*.dbf), Excel Driver (*.xls), Microsoft
Paradox Driver (*.db), MS Access Database, dBase Files,
and Excel Files. Please help me in figuring out what I
did wrong.
