Microsoft Update does not recognize that Office 2007 SP1 is installed ??

Hello,
Please, is it normal for Microsoft Update to NOT recognize that Office
2007 SP1 has been installed WHEN SP1 was installed from the large
downloadable file KB936982? (Office2007sp1-kb936982-fullfile-en-us.exe)
After running this file, all of my Office 2007 Professional Applications now
report that SP1 has been installed in the "Help / About" dialogs.
Incidentally, I also noticed that MBSA 2.1 Beta 1 and 2 does not
recognize that Office 2007 SP1 is installed.
