Microsoft Updates with Office 2007 and Vista

In order to update Office 2007 on Vista I'm sent to the Microsoft Update
site, where I'm given two automatic download choices. If I enable Microsoft
Updates and update Office 2007, can I turn it off when I'm done?

Thanks

You can if you choose. Once you get to the Microsoft Update site, you need
only to select the Office updates you want and select install. I suspect
that Microsoft is offering to configure your computer to either
automatically download and install critical updates or just to download and
let you decide when to install. If so, what would be changed is the
settings in Control Panel, Automatic Updates. If you desire to change those
setting, I would go to Control Panel, Automatic Updates and make your
changes.
