Microsoft makes eraser97.exe for full Office removal of Office 97.
Eraser2k.exe is for Office 2000. MSIZap.exe is for Office XP. There is no
tool (AFAIK) for Office 2003, yet.
So, you can see that the version IS important as different versions of
Office require different utilities to completely remove Office. Anyway, the
files created using Office are NOT removed, so your .pst file will remain as
well as any documents created with Office.
