microsoft vis c++ error occurs when power point starts

i'm getting a goofy error, that i cannot correct using
some of the possible solutions from MSFT.

Here's the error-
a window pops up, in the title it says:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\ent\appl\prod\office\Office\PowerPnt.exe

R6025
-pure virtual function call
/end error

Now when i use the command:
regsvr32 C:\WINNT\system32\rsabase.dll
it says that it is succeded, but I still get the error
when i reopen PWRPNT.

Any ideas?
