Microsoft Visio 2003 pointer tool crosshairs

Is there a way to display 'crosshairs' or reference axises to the rulers
and/or others objects from the Pointer Tool while
selecting/copying/pasting/etc?

No. However, there are some position indicators shown on the rulers while
you are dragging shapes. They only appear during the drag though.
