Microsoft Visual Basic Complience error in hidden module: AutoExe.

Everytime I access a new or existing office document a pop up window appears
as follows: Microsoft Visual Basic
Compile error in hidden module: AutoExec
I want to fix this problem and avoid the window continually popping up
I operate Windows XP professional
