Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error

What does it mean when i quit word and I get a message "the application has
requested the Runtime quit in an unusual way

Hi Jeff,

In "excel", I use quit like alt+f4
Better use application.close method.

Generally, this is a sign that a COM Add-in or something similar (i.e. Not
built into Word) has caused Word to crash. These kinds of problems can be very
difficult to track down, but the best way to begin is to start Word in Safe
Mode (if you don't know how to do that, you have to tell us which version you
have) and see if the problem goes away. If it does, then you can be pretty
sure it's an Addin of some kind.
