Microsoft warning about inability to operateany of its applications

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)

A warning message comes up on the screen for any application, it happened whilst preparing a pp presentayion with photos, which kept hanging up.I need this for s presentation on Monday(Typical!)

The application "PowerPoint" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "6<Microsoft PowerPoint><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_ColorSync><>"

Plse Help if you reccognise this error,

Why don't you post the same message about six more times?

error

1) First try downloading the combo updater from Apple and run it again
rather than using Software Update. Doing so overwrites potentially
problem-causing files.

2) Use "Remove Office" and re-install and update Office.

If this does not work, you will need to do an Archive & Install of the OS.

The combo updater from Apple overwrites potentially problem-causing files.
Combo updaters will install on the same version as they¹re applying‹no need
to roll back or do a clean install.
