Microsoft Windows Search Host Protocol Was Closed

I recently installed Office 2007 on my Vista Home Premium machine (with SP2).
Every time I open Outlook 2007, I get a pop-up message that "Microsoft
Windows Search Host Protocol Was Closed". The pop-up occurs numerous times
while Outlook is open. And this only occurs when Outlook is open.
Office 2007 is completely up to date with all available patches (including
SP2).

Any ideas? I spent several hours searching for a solution online, and I've
seen some work-arounds to this problem but no fixes.

I am having the same issue. It only happens when I open outlook. This is
really irratating. Hope a solution comes along soon.

Very odd that NO ONE has offered any type of solution, and MS is absolutely
no help, even though this is clearly a flaw in THEIR software. A fix would
certainly be appreciated, as I'm about to ditch Outlook because of it!
