MICROSOFT WINDOWS UPDATE

I'm unable to access the windows updates. I continue to get "Administrators Only" message. Also when trying to download clipart from Microsoft Clipart Media I get a message that I need to try and install Microsoft Office and media ActiveX Control. I believe I need that also to view Windows Updates. Please someone help me. I don't know how to activate the ActiveX Control. I'm using XP Home Edition and Windows 2003 Professional Edition.

one of the Windows newsgroups for Windows Update issues, such as:
