microsoft word 2002 update problems

i have microsoft word 2002 on my pc and when i try to download the microsoft
service pack 3 it wont because of microsoft word not working right. my
question is if i can redownload microsoft word from the microsoft site since
i cant find the original cd that i need to fix word. can anyone help?
