Microsoft Word 2002?

Hi -I've always used WordPerfect but lately its not compatible with my
printer.
So I downloaded Word but am finding it difficult to do the simplest tasks:

1. Page numbering - sample - Page 1 of 10
2. Changing a document to a PDF FILE

There's more, but I'll add them as I go along. I might be able to buy an
old book on ebay - for Word 2002?
