Microsoft Word 2004 for Mac with Endnote 8.0

Word 2004 and Endnote 8.0 are compatible. However, when I am in Word,
I go under Word-->Services-->EndNote and I cannot click on any of the
options. I would like to use this program to insert citations. Do I
need an update?
