Microsoft Word 2007 - Unable to click on document

I just got a new computer the other day, and with it got Vista and Microsoft
Word 2007 for the first time. It worked perfectly fine the first time I used
it, but starting the second time I suddenly can't click in the document area,
the scroll bar, or the top and left margin adjusters. When I logged into a
different account, I didn't encounter this problem. I tried restarting my
computer, but that didn't help either.

Anyone know what's going on? It's really aggravating that I can't actually
use Word fully.
