Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Every time I open up microsoft word a document opens of automatically without me open it. What is also strange is that this document never existed in my computer. What is on the document is as follows:

"Reading: Ch. 1, pages 5-15 and 21-25
Ch. 2, pages 33-35 and 38-41

Reading Ch. 2, pages 40-47
Homework: page 50, ex. 4, 5, 6.

- 2 puzzles

Go to the Protein Data Bank, find the structure of an enzyme (a transferase or a ribonuclease) and drop it in the Digital Drop Box with a few lines explaining what it is, molecular weight and enzyme classification number."

Also when I press to open a new blank document this same things comes up over and over again. I dont know what is going on. I hope someone can help me with this.

Hi David -

I don't mean to argue with you :) but the content *must* have existed at
one time or it wouldn't be there now. Somehow it's been saved into your
Normal template. Follow the directions here to have Word build a new one:

http://word.mvps.org/mac/MacWordNormal.html

If it happens again post back for other suggestions - it's "possible" [but
unlikely] that you may have an infected file on your system.
