Microsoft Word and Outlook signature.

Hi.
I have this problem:
I use Outlook 2003 and Word 2003 as message editor. Every time I send a
message, the receiver see the message with attached image "image001.gif". I
checked all Word options without find anything strange. The message hasn't
any signature/image attached or linked while I write it. Instead if I try to
send a message written by using internal Outlook editor the image is not
added.
have you any idea to solve the issue ?
