Microsoft Word can't perform word breaking

I get this message everytime I put my mouse pointer
anywhere on a document that I am working on. this document
in Chinese if that will be of any help. I have searched
the microsoft knowledge base and I can not find any
reference to "Microsoft Word can't perform word breaking"
