I've been around a bunch of web sites in attempt to resolve a couple
of the listed issues:
1) User using word - Opening, making changes or modifications to
content, scrolling between pages is EXTREMELY slow
2) User using excel - Opening, making changes or modifications to
contents in cells, scrolling btween pages is EXTREMELY slow
I was able to identify and resolve the issue by:
- Changing the default printer from a network printer to a local
printer
It seems like my users have been, by default, on his/her laptop set a
company network printer as their default. When they are out of the
office, while they still set their default printer with the network
printer, word and excel seems to be checking where the printer is for
every little thing.
Just wanted to share this in the open space in case someone is
wondering.
