Microsoft Word focus issue when displaying a form from a Addin

Hi all,

I have a COM addin written in VB. NET that displays modal forms. Each time a
form is shown from an event or from a commandbutton when returning to
Microsoft Word the Word window is focussed, but the cursor is not blinking,
it is frozen. The user has to click with the mouse somewhere in the document
(so the cursor starts blinking again) before he can continue typing.

I have tried ActiveWindow.Active etc however nothing seems to resolve the
problem. Firstly has anyone written an addin that display modal forms from
VB.NET from a commandbutton successfully without this issue? Secondly does
anyone know how to fix this issue?
