microsoft word from office 2008

I am having trouble selecting text in print layout view. sometimes I can, sometimes I can't.

any suggestions would be much apprecited.

Make sure that you do not have a graphic laid over the top of what you are
trying to select.

Make sure you are not using Spaces. Word 2008 is not compatible with
Spaces, we're waiting on a fix.

If it's not that, I need a lot more information to be able to answer.
