"Microsoft Word has not been installed for the current use........

"Microsoft word has not been installed for the current user. Please run set
up to install the appliacation"

I get this error message when i try to open up word. I JUST uninstalled and
then reinstalled it on the adminisator account (the only account) on my
computer, and i still get this error message. Any ideas on wha ti should do?

Which operating system? I remember this sort of thing annoyed me
enormously under Win4. It should not happen under any NT version.

I forgot to add that to the post didn't I? I am using Window's XP, service
pack 2. MY office program is Microsoft Office XP Professional.

As I wrote, this should not happen under any version of NT (WinXP is
simply NT5.1).

I can only assume that the original Office installation was done 1) from
a network installation source which is no longer available, and/or 2)
only for the current user, not for all users.

If you get the error when using Office from the same account as the one
which installed it, and if that account is indeed the Administrator
account, as you write, then I'm at a complete loss to understand this.
