Microsoft Word is shutting down

I am running Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2000 Premium.
Recently, the windows installer for Premium has begun
starting itself; I have read of others who have had the
same problems but I have been using this program for many
months now and this has just begun happening. Also, just
recently, Word has been shutting itself down.

I would greatly appreciate any help and ideas.

Every time I use Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Word. I get a message that
Microsoft Word is shutting down. It then shuts down and saves my work. This
is frustarting as I can't do any work. I have Office Pro 2003 on XP. I have
cleaned up the Registry and have reinstalled the Office Program many times.
Nothing works. Any Ideas?
