Microsoft Word (not responding)

I have recently installed Windows XP and Microsoft Office
2003 but when I am working on Word after a few minutes of
typing the document freezes and I get a message that
Microsoft Word is not responding so I have to close the
program. I do not know what to do. Can somebody help me
please?

only thing I can think of is that you may not have enough ram in your system.
if you only have 128 for example, windows xp takes up most of it and Word
2003 wouldn't have enough to work with. That could cause it to hang

I have de same problem, but if you create a new user the problem is solved
because the profile off the user is the problem,
