Microsoft Word Template

I have a Microsoft Word Template with very important
records on it that I need to update every month. I have
always used this document without problems and made
additions/corrections and saved/printed.

Now, I am unable to type in any corrections/additions or
make deletions. The document shows all corrections,
deletions and additions in red and will not allow those to
be printed.

Can you help me get rid of this red??? I need to update
my document and continue to do so monthly. I'm on a
deadline here and would appreciate any responses today.

Thanks for any ideas, help.

Edith, it sounds like you turned on "track changes" somehow. What version of
Word are you using?

From the Tools menu you can turn on or off the Track Changes setting.

To remove the red, you need to "Accept all changes." You can do this by
turning on the Revisions toolbar. You will see an icon that looks like a
yellow notepad with a blue checkmark. Click on its dropdown menu and you
should see the option to "Accept all changes in document". Click on that
and see if it makes those revision marks go away.

I hope that helps,
