My previous computer "died". I had microsoft office 2003.
Best Buy was able to retrieve my docs from the hard-
drive. Now I am attempting to load these to my new
computer with Mircorsoft XP. It will not accept the
product key for XP. Any suggestions?

I am not sure I understand your question.

Best Buy retrieved your documents from your old hard drive and placed them
where?

You have a new computer with Microsoft Windows XP, correct?

Are you trying to copy the documents that Best Buy saved someplace to your
new computer? If so, what does the product key have to do with the copy
process?

Are you trying to install Office 2003 on your new computer using the product
key for Windows XP? If so, you need to use the Office 2003 product key.

If none of the above guesses apply, try to explain your problem.
