Microsoft Word X crashes constantly...

I have an eMac running OS 10.2.8 and Microsoft Word X. I have run all the
updates and it still crashes at different times when either creating, working
in or closing a document. I have combed through the thread here and found
lots of the same questions but no answers. If anyone has a solution to this
problem could you pass it on to me. I would greatly appreciate it.

How did you not find any answers? All the answers say the same thing: run
through the troubleshooting techniques listed here:

(hit refresh a few times in Safari, or use a different browser)

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. None of the troubleshooting
ideas online worked. Finally re-installed Office X. That worked.

Removing and reinstalling Office IS one of the troubleshooting ideas online!
