Microsoft Word x.v (ver. 10.1.0)

When every I try to open Word it automatically quits. I have install
the latest update. I have an iMac G4 1
Ghz with 512 MB ram. Running Mac OS 10.4.8.

You say in your message that you have installed the lates tupdate, but the
Subject of your post indicates 10.1.0 - Is that a typo? The current version
of Office X is 10.1._9_ so update if necessary & follow the path Daiya has
pointed you to.
