Well, I'm going to assume these are two separate questions, since there's no
way to zoom in on a specific portion of a page and print just that (as
displayed). You zoom in using View | Zoom or the Zoom dropdown on the
Standard toolbar or (in Word 2007) the Zoom slider on the status bar.

You print a section of a document by specifying the section number or
inclusive pages (if the document contains more than one section, you must
include the section number along with the page numbers).

You can select a specific portion of a document and select "Selection" as
the "Page range" in the Print dialog, but this will print the text without
header/footer and starting at the top of a page, not as the text is
displayed in the document.
