I am trying to make a card. How can i create a document that will print out
on the front and the back ?

It's a function of the printer rather than Word. In simple terms, the odd
pages would go on the front of the sheet and the even pages on the back of
the sheet. How are you proposing to actually create the document?

Are you meaning that you are creating a greeting card that will be
folded in 4?

If so, then you'll only need to print on one side; when the paper is
folded, quadrant 1 will be the cover (and will need to be upside down
before printing) and quadrant 4 will be the inside portion where the
card message usually lives.

The best Microsoft Office application for this is Pubisher, which is set up
to do greeting cards.

Argh! Most Office purchases do not include Publisher, so I was trying
to help Dom out without telling him to spend money to perform a simple
task.
It is quite easy to do in PowerPoint, but there are many publishing
programs that will make a greeting card depending on how much you
would like to spend. In fact, there are many greeting card programs
that are much cheaper than Publisher.
My point is don't spend hundreds of dollars on new software if you
already have a tool that will work.
