Our Microsoft Word is all messed up. The "Normal" template
is not normal. I just can't figure out how to fix this.
When we open a new document, the template says normal.
Then, we start typing and if we push enter, the font is
bolded in another font and its not lined up to the left
side of the page. If anyone can help me I would really
appriciate it. Thank you.

Hi, Wendy. The "normal" fix for a corrupted Normal.dot template is to
rename Normal.dot to something like OldNormal.dot, then restart Word. It
will then create a new Normal.dot. If Word now behaves "normally", then the
problem is solved. If you have macros and such in the OldNormal, you can
move them over using the Organizer (Format>>Style, Organizer button, Macro
Project Items tab). If Word is *not* behaving right after this, then delete
the new Normal.dot and rename the original back to Normal.

Three other things: do a virus check; if you move macros over into the new
Normal, do it one at the time in case it was a corrupted or virused macro
that was giving you problems, and check out http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/ for
any additional information on Word misbehavior. Post back if this doesn't
help.
