Microsoft Work Suite 2003 (Spreadsheet)

I am new to Windows (former Mac user), but am trying to
open up previous spreadsheets utilizing Works Suite
2003. I keep getting messages like: VJN1 contains a
formula outside the area that Works can access. There are
other messages similiar to this one, e.g. BYL1, etc. I
do not know how to find thes formula locations by these
references. Can you assist me or direct me to a source?
This appears only applicable to spreadsheet documents,
and I would like to remove these notices from all of my
spreadsheet documents, but don't know how to do so. Your
help will be appreciated.
